But I need some rest. I should have stayed and worked more on it all but I need to step away and clear my head. My work wouldn't be quality. Best to wait until the morning...

Mortimer seems to be in grand spirits. This makes me both relieved and suspcious at the same time. I thought about cornering him and questioning him but the evening was so nice. Myself, Lassera and him simply chatting and laughing and enjoying tea. Lassera seems to have taken too him and I couldn't be more pleased. They have a lot in common I'm finding. Its a bit..eerie.
Reguardless, she briefly refered to him as a father. In passing yes..but still...
It makes me happy.

I was interviewed by Auror Sunwhisper Swan this evening on my shop's accident. She seemed a plesant soul. I told her what I could but considering most of my memories of that night consist of me being under a pile of rubble, well I can't see how it could help. I hope it shed some light on it all.

Must be off to bed. I plan to get to the book early in the morning..I WILL finish that finall stanza tomorrow. I Will.
